An estimated 218 million children aged 5-17 are engaged in child labour, excluding child domestic labour. Some 126 million of these children are believed to be engaged in hazardous situations or conditions, such as working in mines, working with chemicals and pesticides in agriculture or working with dangerous machinery. They are everywhere but invisible, toiling as domestic servants in homes, labouring behind the walls of workshops, hidden from view in plantations.
Millions of girls who work as domestic servants are especially vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. An estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked, forced into debt bondage or other forms of slavery (5.7 million), into prostitution and pornography (1.8 million), into participating in armed conflict (0.3 million) or other illicit activities (0.6 million). However, the vast majority of child labourers – 70 per cent or more – work in agriculture.

They come from very poor family, most of the child laboure come to the work place themselves only for money for helping their family, & they work for very little amount of money. We know that money is very very essential for living. So the poor parents think that to send their children to work place is far better than send to school. Some times they shell their children for very little amount of money. Actualy hungriness helps them to forget that what is right & what is wrong for them. And they have no proper education, so all time they are missguided by the so called literate person. But we forget that children r the future of our country, they r damaged means, damage of our country.
Every country has the rules agenst child laboure. But only it is not sufficient for preventing this, cause hungriness of the poor people. The huge amount of statistic above stated prove this. All of us need to take some necessary steps try to solve this problem.
1. Set up many recidential schools with totally free of cost.
2.Organise many campaigne for helping them to understand the value of education & it should be well organised.
3.Also provide educational programe for the poor parents.
4.And provide some money for attending the class to the poor people. It will help them to increase their egerness for learning.
